I REST MY CASE

Neil Kaplan was born in London during WWII. He survived polio as a child and, as a teenager spent many months immobilised after spinal surgery. Despite years of isolation and missed schooling, he qualified as a lawyer and has enjoyed a distinguished career at the Bar as Queen's Counsel, later as a High Court judge in Hong Kong and as a leading international arbitrator. His memoir details the obstacles he overcame during his early years and fascinating insights into the many cases he has conducted and presided over in the last 50 years.
