Romy Moshinsky - Writer, Editor & Publisher
Romy worked as a lawyer in the area of criminal defence before moving into documentary film production at Granada Productions (now ITV Studios) where she developed expertise in communicating real life stories. Her love of books and reading eventually lead her to the world of publishing. Since editing her first biography in 2009, Romy has developed a niche as a memoirist and publisher of beautiful non-fiction books. She founded Real Publishing in 2012.
Georgie Raik-Allen - Writer, Editor & Publisher
Georgie studied history and journalism in Australia before moving to the US to complete her Masters in Communication at Stanford University. While living in San Francisco, Georgie worked as an editor at the innovation magazine, Red Herring and was the Silicon Valley correspondent for Fairfax newspapers. On her return to Australia, Georgie worked in corporate communications and freelanced as a writer and editor of books and journals before joining Real Publishing in 2012.
Design & Production
Romy and Georgie believe every book they publish should be an objet d'art. They collaborate with a team of talented freelance creatives including book designers, illustrators, typesetters and photographers to create an exquisite design that reflects each book's editorial themes. They also work closely with local printers and bookbinders to ensure the highest quality of production.
